The heats of the Nutrien Equine Classic were run at Albion Park on Tuesday. The first 3 over the line in the 3yo mixed sex heat were all owned by Solid Earth. The talented son of Always B Miki, Fate Awaits, driven by Jack Chapple won by 7 metres. Path To Greatness, a son of Captaintreacherous was second, driven by Adam Sanderson, and 3rd was Ohoka Punter filly, Ruby Rules, driven by Matthew Neilson. A great training effort from Grant Dixon who trained the whole field!
Tims A Trooper back in the winners circle!
After a run of placings Tims A Trooper went one better in the I H Capital Open Pace at Albion Park on Saturday Night. The Grant Dixon trained Tintin In America gelding ran a slick 1:52.0 mile rate over the 2100m. A perfect drive from Jack Chapple saw the 6yo bring up his 15th career win.

Leap To Fame set a new track record at Cambridge in New Zealand when he put up a huge performance in the $1 million The Race By Betcha on Friday Night. The superstar trained by Grant Dixon had to do it tough sitting wide, then parked the whole trip and still pulled away from his rivals. It was a huge effort from Larry and a masterly drive from Grant Dixon.
