A great drive from Layne Dwyer saw the Grant Dixon trained Go The Red win heat 1 of the Queensland Young Drivers Championship at Redcliffe on Wednesday night. This was the 5yo’s 6th career win and 1st win this season.
Win number 5 for Missed Consequences!
Missed Consequences, a daughter of Ohoka Punter was too good for her rivals in heat 2 of the Queensland Young Drivers Championship at Redcliffe on Wednesday night. The Grant Dixon trained and Nathan Rothwell driven won by over 17 metres and in doing so took her career earnings over $50,000.
A first up win for Race for Riches!
Race For Riches starts his 3yo season off with a tough win in the Driver Of The Night – Layne Dwyer 1 win Pace at Redcliffe on Wednesday night. The Grant Dixon trained and driven son of Always B Miki picked up his 2nd career win in fine style doing all the work sitting outside the leader most of the way.
Back to back wins for Air Express!
After a mistake at the start Air Express was still able to pull off a win in the Ladbrokes Same Race Multi Pace at Albion Park on Friday Night. This was the talented 4yo’s 10th career win. The Grant Dixon trained and driven also recorded a slick mile rate of 1:53.7 on a rain affected track.
A new personal best for Gem Punter Pete!
4yo Ohoka Punter gelding Gem Punter Pete scored comfortably in heat 3 of the Queensland Young Drivers Championship at Albion Park on Friday Night. The Angus Garrard driven and Grant Dixon trained recorded a new personal best of 1:53.5 over the mile.
A narrow victory for Wecanonlydream!
Ohoka Punter gelding Wecanonlydream recorded his 2nd career win in the Country Labelled Clothing 0 to 2 wins Pace at Marburg on Sunday. The 3yo’s 2 victories have both been in the month of March. Congratulations to owner/ trainer Warren Hinze and driver Taleah McMullen.
Studleigh Anne back in the winners circle!
4yo Ohoka Punter mare Studleigh Anne stormed down the outside to win the Thank You Queensland Junior Harness Racing Association Pace at Marburg on Sunday. This was the 4yo’s 4th career win. Congratulations to her connections including trainer John McMullen and driver Dannielle McMullen.
