French Fries added a Group 2 to his already impressive resume when he scored in the 2026 Qbred Triad Final 4yo Entires & Geldings at Albion Park on Saturday 22nd August. The 4yo gelding by Captaintreacherous out of French Charm was trained and driven by Trent Dawson. This was French Fries’ 10th career win and took his career earnings over $200,000. French Fries made it back to back Triad victories after he was a dominant winner in the 3yo edition last year.
Ruby Rules
Ruby Rules picked up her first Group 2 victory in the 2026 Qbred Triad Final 4yo Mares at Albion Park on Saturday 22nd August. The 4yo mare by Ohoka Punter out of Rich Ruby Red was trained and driven by Grant Dixon. Reds Ablaze made it a Solid Earth owned quinella. The 4yo mare by Captain Crunch out of Red Charmer was also trained by Grant Dixon, and driven by Jack Chapple. Fellow stablemate Cool And Classy ran a great race for 4th, just missing out on a Solid Earth owned and Grant Dixon trained trifecta.
