Race For Riches picked up his 5th career win in the Leading Edge Security Pace at Albion Park on Tuesday 14th July. The 4yo son of Always B Miki was trained and driven by Grant Dixon. Race For Riches was able to obtain the spot behind the leader and use the sprint lane to out sprint his rivals.
Call To Order
Call To Order picked up his 14th career victory in the Group 3 Inter Dominion 26 Pacing Consolation at Albion Park on Saturday 18th July. The 5yo son of American Ideal was trained by Grant Dixon and driven by Jack Chapple. Call To Order was able to peel off cover and storm down the outside to win by a short margin. A huge congratulations to Jack Chapple who captured his first Group 3 win as a driver.
A special mention to Leap To Fame with his exceptionally brave 2nd behind Captains Mistress in the Group 1 Inter Dominion Pacing Championship Final. After sitting 3 wide and working forward to find the spot outside the leader Larry fought to the very end. Leap To Fame ran his own last mile in a sizzling 1:50.3 (a whole 1.75 seconds quicker than the winner, he also covered an extra 33 metres than Captains Mistress), and ran the quickest last quarter of 27.6 all over the 2680 metre trip. A massive effort from Larry to only be beaten by a metre!
